Garment Technology Expo (GTE) is one of the only annual events in the country where state-of-the-art apparel technologies are put on display. This expo was held for the first time in 2001 with only 87 exhibitors. 15 years later, the numbers have been only growing. The 2016 edition welcomed 327 participants, representing over 800 companies and brands from 18 countries. Besides meeting owners, CEOs, production heads and other decision makers, this is a great platform for visitors and participants to learn about new and upcoming technologies in the sector.



AAHAR

Organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), AAHAR is one of Asia’s best-known food and hospitality trade show. Into its 32nd edition, the event will display various food products and beverages, as well as solutions for preparation, processing, packaging and decor, etc. In 2016, it saw a record-footfall of 51,404 registered business visitors. With 1,034 exhibitors from 23 countries, the 2016 event also saw 518 foreign delegates and buyers from 60 countries. Some of the countries expected to participate in 2017 include US, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, China, Korea, Thailand, Japan, etc.



Indian Carpet Expo

Indian Carpet Expo is one of the most prominent exhibitions organised by the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) of India. Popular amongst home furnishings, household consumables and home textiles manufacturers and sellers, it showcases various types of carpets – both hand and machine-made, carpeting materials, and even carpet packaging. This is an important platform for artisans, from across the country, as this is where they can directly exhibit their products. Medical Fair

Intralogistics Europe 2017, a yearly logistics exhibition, is a popular destination for those looking for distribution solutions. The trade show encourages networking by putting visitors in contact with specialists in property development and warehouse construction. The trade show aims to offer solutions in sectors like FMCG, e-commerce, food processing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, apart from addressing the multichannel requirements of SMEs. Each year, it attracts around 15,000 professionals and 150 exhibitors. In addition, this fair has gained popularity because of the conferences and workshops it organises.



CREATIVA

CREATIVA is an annual event that is considered the largest and the most diverse exhibition for creative design in Europe. It caters to people from all walks of life, who have a passion for creative design. Visitors will see a wide range of unique products and techniques spread across 40,000 sq.mt. Some popular stalls in the recent years included needlework, spinning and weaving, wood and metal work, silk and glass painting, jewellery making, cake decoration, etc. The 2016 edition attracted about 700 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors from all across the globe. And this year, the organisers anticipate an even bigger footfall.

ExpoMed Eurasia has been one of the leading specialty trade fairs in the medical sector of Eurasia, for the last 23 years. GLOBAL SOURCES ELECTRONICS SHOW

Global Sources Electronics is one of the largest electronics sourcing shows in the world. Divided into two phases, it takes place at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, every April and October. This year, the first phase will run between April 11 and 14, and feature 3,700 booths that focus on consumer electronics, virtual reality (VR) and gaming, components and smart living. The second phase, which will take place from October 18 to 21 will focus on smartphones, tablets, wearables and accessories, and will feature 2,700 booths. The show is known for highlighting the rapidly accelerating innovations from the region through Experience Zones and Start-up Launchpad, Asia’s largest collection of consumer electronics start-ups. This is a one-of-a-kind show that attracts buyers from more than 140 countries who are looking for new products, technologies and ideas.
