I did not work on TPP. I advocated for a multinational trade agreement that would be the ‘gold standard’. But that was the responsibility of the United States Trade Representative.

It’s a good deal for Australia and it certainly doesn’t need to be reworked or in any way renegotiated. I call on the Labor party to stop playing xenophobic games here.
