The 5th Annual Pharma IPR conference 2016, is being held in Mumbai from March 9th to 11th, where leading experts from all over the world would be providing their distinctive perceptions on the Global Pharma Patent laws.
Organized by UBM, a leading exhibition organizer, the focus of the conference is to help people understand the intellectual property laws of the Pharmaceutical Industry of over 15 countries such as USA, Japan, Europe, Africa, India and Brazil.
The conference will also have case studies on the line of Pharma and Bio-Pharma patents. There would be panel discussions by leading experts from US on IP strategies for Complex Generics followed by a question and answer session.
Edward Pardon, a Partner at Merchant and Gould, one of US’s leading intellectual property firms spoke about the 101 patentability decisions and their impact on treating the patents on a whole.
One of the highlights of the conference was the moot court session where a simulated court experience discussing the pharma patent litigation case laws were enacted. The conference provides an opportunity for people to come together from different countries and debate about the latest patent cases that has been making headlines across the globe.
