An Area to set up Multi Product SEZ by khed Economic Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. at village Nimgaon

Whereas, M/s. Khed Economic Infrastructure Private Limited, a private organization in the State of Maharashtra, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up Multi Product Special Economic Zone at village Kendur in Taluka Shirur and Villages Nimgaon, Dawdi, Kanhersar in Taluka Khed, District Pune in the State of Maharashtra;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 1000 hectares area at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notifications Numbers S.O.1463(E) dated 16th June, 2010

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Khed Economic Infrastructure Private Limited has now proposed for denotification of 257.05 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its approval to the proposal vide its letter Nos SEZ-2013/CR-243/2014/Ind-2 dated 30.12.2016 & 27.02.2017;

AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 257.05 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;

NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 257.05 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 742.95 hectares, comprising the Gat numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:-
