Cadilla Health Care stocks fall by 3%, WHO notice brings concern

The stock of Cadilla Health Care is presently at Rs.313.60 on the BSE, after it fell to a 2.97 per cent. The fall of Cadilla Healthcare stock has been falling for three consecutive days. The scrip has further fallen down to 5.29 per cent in the foregoing sessions amidst the WHO warning concerns

Cadilla Health care saw a 3% decrease in their trade, after they had got a notice of concern from World Health Organization(WHO), regarding breach of the manufacturing good practices at its Moraiya plant in Sanand district, Gujarat. The stock is presently at Rs 313.60 on the BSE, after it fell to a 2.97 per cent. The fall of Cadilla Healthcare stock has been falling for three consecutive days. The scrip has further fallen down to 5.29 per cent in the foregoing sessions amidst the WHO warning concerns. Reports state wherein the company’s spokespersons have clarified, “there have been some reports regarding the pre-qualification plant inspection of the vaccines facility by WHO in terms of the possible linkage with our oral solids and injectable facilities at the Moraiya manufacturing complex. In this regard, we hereby inform that we have a separate manufacturing facility for vaccines." The company also added, “this does not form a part of the oral solids and injectable facilities at Moraiya, which cater to the US markets. Regarding the anti-rabies vaccine manufactured at the vaccine facility, we have already responded to the WHO and have been implementing remedial measures. There is no significant impact on the business and there were no exports of this product to the US. Thus it does not impact our US business.” During the last December quarter, the company has reported a consolidated sales percent hike of 8.44% at Rs.2,341.80 crore when compared to Rs. 2,159.54 crore in corresponding quarter the previous year.
