Exemption granted to the citizens of India as members of sailing vessels withdrawn

Dated March 16, 2015 | Copy of | Notification | In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 22 of the Passports Act, 1967 (15 of 1967),the Central Government, being of the opinion that it is necessary in the public interest so to do,hereby withdraws the exemption granted to the citizens of India as members of the crew and tindals of sailing vessels vide notification No. G.S.R. 1812 dated the 25th September, 1968, with effect from 01st June, 2015 and thereof Section 3 of the Passports Act, 1967 shall apply to them from the aforesaid date.
