Dated 8 December, 2014 | Notification no. 102 (RE-2013)/2009-14 | Subject:- Amendment in export policy of cotton In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade(Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 of the Foreign TradePolicy, 2009-14, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes, with immediate effect, thefollowing amendments in respect of Sl. No. 197 & 199 of Chapter 52 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS)Classification of Export & Import Items. 2. The existing entries stipulated against Sl. No. 197 & 199 in Chapter 52 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items are substituted as follows   Chapter 52 Cotton   3. The effect of this notification The registration requirement for export of cotton (Tariff Codes 5201 & 5203) has been dispensed with.
