First all-women Business Park in Saudi Arabia

Wipro Arabia Limited, Saudi Aramco and Princess Nourah University (PNU) on Monday inaugurated the Women Business Park - first all women business park in Saudi Arabia. The project is likely to generate almost 21,000 jobs for Saudi women over a period of 10 years.
The agreement joint venture between the three companies was signed at a ceremony held at PNU.
Dr. Huda Al-Ameel, Rector of Princess Nourah University said that the aim of the Business Park is to generate 21,000 jobs by 2025 and provide women to play a crucial role in a manner that serves the goals of the country and to create a knowledge economy with partnerships from society and international organisations.
“Our goal is to offer an initial eco-system to forthcoming entrepreneurial enterprises. In a nation where about 60 percent university graduates are women, but represent less than 15 percent of the workforce, the initiative for setting up a Business Park will create a milestone,” he added.
The signing ceremony attended by H.E Dr. Ahmad Al-Issa, Minister of Education; H.E Dr. Huda Al-Ameel, PNU Rector; Amin H. Nasser, President & CEO, Saudi Aramco; and, Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro Limited.
With an aim of providing knowledge-based employment for women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, PNU the largest women's university in the world and Wipro Arabia Ltd inaugurated this move of The Women's Business Park.
