Imports Of Cold Rolled Flat Products Of Stainless Steel

Sunset Review (SSR) anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Cold Rolled Flat Products of Stainless Steel from the Peoples Republic of China, Republic of Korea, the European Union, South Africa, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and the United States of America.

Whereas having regard to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended from time to time (hereinafter referred as the Act) and the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 thereof, as amended from time to time (hereinafter referred as the Rules) the Designated Authority notified its Final Findings in the aforesaid investigation vide Notification of even number dated 12th October, 2015.

The Following corrections are hereby made in the said notification:

1. The dumping margin range in respect of China PR in the dumping margin table under para 98 of the Final finding shall be corrected to read as 105-115.

2. The injury margin ranges in the Injury margin table under para 189 of the finding shall be corrected to read as follows;

i. in case of all other exporters from the European union the injury margin ranges may be read as 30- 40, 70-80 and 50-60 in place of the existing entries;

ii. in case of all exporters from Taiwan the injury margin ranges may be read as 10-20, 10-20 and 10- 20 in place of the existing entries;

iii. In case of M/s Posco Thainox, Thailand, exporting through M/s Hyundai Corporation, Korea the injury margin range may be read as 0-10 and in place of the existing entries

2. The description of the goods in Col. 3 of the duty table shall be corrected to read as “Cold-rolled Flat products of stainless steel**” in place of the existing entry.

3. The expression ‘M/s POSCO Korea’ appearing at Sl.No.3 in the duty table shall be corrected to read as ‘POSCO’.

4. The expression ‘Daewoo International’ appearing at Sl.No.3 in the duty table shall be corrected to read as ‘Daewoo International Corporation’.

5. The expression ‘Columbus Stainless’ appearing at Sl.No.9 in the duty table shall be corrected to read as ‘Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd’.
