Infosys to set up delivery centres in Croatia, Russia

The new dev centres in Karlovac, Croatia and Moscow will support the engg services being provided to Ansaldo Energia.

Infosys on Wednesday revealed to the media that it will set up new centres of global service delivery in Croatia and Russia. This is a part of the company's expansion plans.

The new development centres in Karlovac, Croatia and Moscow will support the engineering services being provided to the thermoelectric power plants producer Ansaldo Energia. An agreement was signed between the two companies on the same.

In a statement to the media, Infosys said, “it wll deliver research and development service delivery and capabilities, along with engineering services to the enlarged Ansaldo Energia business.”

The facilities in both the centres will have an initial combined capacity of 180 seats and operate as centres of excelllence for engineering skills in turbo machinery , aerospace and automation the media release added.

Both the companies have been working together in areas of global R&D, enegineering and engineering IT services needed to develop solutions in the power sector.

Speaking to the media, Sandeep Dadlani, Infosys President and Global Head Manufacturing, Retail, CPG and Logistics said, "The establishment of centers in Croatia and Russia enables us to tap into a rich pool of engineering talent and bring this to the industrial and manufacturing companies that we work with around the world.”
