Practo plans to reach 65 Indian cities in 2016

Practo claims that it manages over 40 million appointments across India, Singapore, Brazil, Philippines and Indonesia.

Practo, a healthcare platform, is aggressive towards expansion in leading markets, including Latin America, Southeast Asia, Middle East and East Europe. It is also planning to make its presence felt in more than 65 Indian cities.

The Bangalore based company claims that it has managed over 40 million appointments across India, Singapore, Brazil, Philippines and Indonesia. Currently, Practo delivers its services to 50 cities in 15 countries. Of  the 50, 35 are Indian cities.

Shashank ND, Founder and CEO of Practo stated that they are planning to expand into 100 Indian cities.

While elaborating on future plans, Shashank ND revealed that Practo will not only expand by covering more cities also launch new products in Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines markets.

Revealing the details on selecting target markets, he added that they target huge markets that have out-of-pocket expenses and  lack in technology. This helps in having an impact on millions of people instantly.

Practo developed a ‘Hyper Loop’ business model, which connects consumers to a community of healthcare providers, including firms that use Practo’s software.

The company claims that over 4,000 healthcare and fitness centres, 8,000 diagnostic centres, 10,000 hospitals and more than 2,00,000 doctors from 15 countries are making use of Practo, the digital healthcare platform.
