As part of the order, the Indian engineering and construction major along with its joint venture partner will construct 459 kilometres of gas pipeline. The total order is worth Rs.2780 crore ($409 million). “TANAP, the Trans Anatolian Natural Pipeline Project, will be built to transport natural gas emanating from the South Caucasus Pipeline Company (SCPC) pipeline in Georgia and terminating into the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Greece,” Punj Lloyd said in a statement. Punj Llyod’s scope of the present project is the second phase of construction from the new Eskisehir Compressor station to the tie-in point of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline. “This is the second project for Punj Llyod Limak JV in Turkey.
