India and Thailand meet to discuss agriculture, trade
The Dollar Business Bureau India and Thailand on Tuesday agreed to work collectively for the benefit of farmers, manufacturers and traders in the field of tuber crops such as tapioca. This issue along with several others was discussed between S S Ahluwalia, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and a delegation led by Winichi Chaemchaeng, Thailand’s Vice Minister of Commerce in New Delhi. The delegates from Thailand have proposed that cooperation in the area of agriculture, mainly of tapioca processing, value addition, etc, provides tremendous opportunities, according to a statement by the Agriculture Ministry. Indias seafood exports growing steadily, but some areas require attention
