Government imposes anti-dumping duty on electronic calculators, spares Casio

 The Dollar Business Bureau The government, today, imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of electronic calculator originating from China. However, the ruling excludes electronic calculators of the Chinese manufacturer Casio and some other types such as printing calculators, graphing calculators and programming calculators. The Ministry of Finance imposed the duty on Director General of Anti-Dumping Duties and Allied Duties (DGAD) recommendation. As per the authority’s final findings of the investigation, it said, the domestic industry has suffered injury due to dumped imports of Chinese electronic goods.
