Biofuels offer business opportunities worth Rs.1 lakh cr: Pradhan

The Dollar Business Bureau Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Wednesday that biofuels has the business potential worth Rs.1 lakh crore in the ‘waste-to-wealth’ sector, while adding that there are challenges in encouraging advanced biofuels. India is putting emphasis on diversifying its crude oil sources: Pradhan

The Dollar Business Bureau Highlighting the arrival of two shipments of crude oil from the US, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Sunday that the country is emphasising on diversifying its sources for crude oil supply and tapping new markets. ONGC to bid for Israeli oil and gas exploration

India to announce a new bio fuel policy to cut imports of fossil fuels

India to double its gas pipeline network to 30,000 km in 3-4 yrs: Pradhan

Govt undertakes revival of closed fertilizer projects to make India self-reliant

The Dollar Business Bureau A Joint review meeting on revival plans for closed fertilizer projects was held today, to realise PM Narendra Modi's vision of ‘Fertilizer Security for Food Security'.  The two-pronged strategy includes existing fertilizer capacity augmentation by increasing the efficiency of the plants and revival of closed fertilizer projects. "With the revival of the fertilizer projects, Gorakhpur, Barauni, Sindri and Talcher, an additional annual production capacity of 75 LMT would be created making India self-reliant in meeting the annual domestic demand of around 320 LMT, from being a net importer currently," Ananthkumar, Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers and Parliamentary Affairs said, after the meeting.
