DGAD recommends anti-dumping duty on amoxycillin imports from China
The Dollar Business Bureau Directorate of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD) has recommended imposition of anti-dumping duty on the imports of amoxycillin from China PR in order to remove the impact of injury caused to domestic industry due to cheap imports. Amoxycillin, also known as Amoxicillin Trihydrate, is a semisynthetic antibiotic, an analog of ampicillin, with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms and is used to reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria.
