NITI to merge 15-yr vision document, 7-yr strategy paper
The Dollar Business Bureau NITI Aayog, the Government think-tank, has decided to combine the 15-year vision document with 7-year medium-term strategy paper to bring out a comprehensive roadmap to accelerate the economic growth. “We are thinking of having a brief chapter regarding the vision in the 7-year strategy paper which will be a bulky document outlining the action plan for expediting growth. The vision document will be aspirational, about the kind of country we want to build...The kind of society we want to be in. MP govt gives 40 acres to Ramdevs Patanjali at Rs 10 cr

The land allocated is in the Pithampur industrial area and Patanjali intends to set up a food processing unit at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Speaking to the media, Kumar Purushottam, MD, Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam, Indore said, "We have allotted 40 acres of land to Patanjali Ayurved at Rs 25 lakh per acre. India created over 10,000 jobs in South Africa
The Dollar Business Bureau Indian companies have generated more than 10,000 jobs in South Africa with a total investment of more than $4 billion since 2003, South Africa’s Trade Minister Rob Davies said on Monday. "A total of 82 Indian projects in South Africa with a total capital expenditure of 62 billion rand ($4.2 billion) between January 2003 and January 2016 were recorded from 60 companies. These investments have created 10,660 jobs," Davis said, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to this African nation later this week. Food processing sector constitutes 13% of Indias factory employment
Source: PIB, Government of India Food Processing Industry is one of the major employment intensive segments constituting 13.04 per cent of employment generated in all Registered Factory sector in 2012-13. According to the latest Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) for 2012-13, the total number of persons engaged in registered food processing sector is 16.89 lakh. Employment in registered food processing sector has been increasing annually at an average growth of 2.41 per cent during 5 years ending 2012-13. Unregistered food processing sector supports employment to 47.9 lakh workers as per the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) 67th Round, 2010-11.
