A signed Concession Agreement with the Government of Goa for development and operation of the same was arrived at on 8th November 2016. The project was won by GMR Airports Limited through international competitive bidding process with highest revenue share of 36.99%. Sheela Mamidenna  The introduction of goods and services tax (GST) will help attract new investments into the coastal state, said GCCI Chairman Narayan Bandekar. “With the introduction of GST, exemptions regime will come to an end that will attract new investments into Goa, majorly in the manufacturing sector on account of the state’s better infrastructure.
