Nabard to give Rs 7,000 crore to Telangana for 11 irrigation projects

The Dollar Business Bureau  The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will be extending a loan of Rs 7000 crore to the Telangana Govt for 11 irrigation projects. The loan is a part of the MoU between the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation and NABARD for providing assistance to 99 irrigation projects in the State. These projects come under the PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana programme (PMKSY).  The Telangana Minister for Irrigation, T Harish Rao met Central ministers, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, Uma Bharti and RadhaMohan and apprised them of the issues related to their ministries in the State. Belgian firm, Nasscom jointly launch NDLM centre in Hyderabad

Sharath Chowdary The Belgian retailer Colruyt Group has partnered with Nasscom Foundation to launch the National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) centre in Hyderabad. Colruyt is the first Belgian company to invest in providing digital literacy to people in India. CBEC, FTAPCCI clears industry concerns on GST Law

India attracts Rs.53 lakh-cr funds in infra sector

The Dollar Business Bureau India has attracted over all investments worth more than Rs.53 lakh crore in various categories of infrastructure sector. The categories include transport, health, education, recreational services, communication services, wholesale and retail trading, information, hotels and tourism, and storage and distribution services. Among these, transport services garnered the maximum share at 71% of the investments. This information has been revealed by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) in its study ‘Analysis of infrastructure investment in India,’ in Hyderabad on Friday. KCR to visit US to ink MoUs for investments

Telangana state records 27.45% growth in revenue

The Dollar Business Bureau Telangana has achieved a revenue growth of 27.45 per cent in the recent months, the state government announced recently. “There has been remarkable growth in all key departments”, the CM proudly announced to the media following a finance review meeting with the senior officials.  He expressed happiness at the fact that the State achieved remarkable progress despite severe drought conditions for two consecutive years.
