PTI Hinduja Group has shown keen interest to set up a commercial vehicle plant in Jharkhand and a team from the company is likely to visit the state in October. The proposal from the Hinduja Group came during a meeting with prospective investors and Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das in New York, an official release said today. Representatives of renowned companies like Clutch Group, Medtronic, Gilead Sciences also met Das, who asked them to invest in Jharkhand. Ashok Leyland to export vehicles worth $200 million to Ivory Coast

Ashok Leyland on Thursday said that it has signed a contract with the government of the West African country for the supply of 3,600 vehicles. “The contract is being funded by Exim Bank of India and is pending final clearance from respective governments,” the automobile major said in a statement.
