Dated February 13, 2015 | Public Notice No.85 (RE-2013)/2009-2014 | Subject: Fees for Online IEC Applications: Corrigendum to Public Notice. 79 / (RE-2013)/2009-2014 dated the 31st December, 2014. In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy (2009-2014), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies that the application fee for online IEC, notified vide Public Notice. 79/(RE-2013)/2009-2014 dated the 31st December, 2014 should be read as Rs 250/- instead of Rs 500/- . 2. Effect of Public Notice: The application fee for online IEC is corrected to read as Rs 250/-. The DGFT regional authority has started the online processing and issuance of Importer Exporter Code applications in digital format, said a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Henceforth, the IEC applications will be not be available in physical form as the entire process, starting from receiving applications to the issuing of the same, will go online.
