EU initiates anti-dumping investigation on pipes, manganese imports from India
The Dollar Business Bureau The European Commission has initiated several actions against imports of several items from India including silico-managenese, and tubes and pipes of ductile cast iron following complaints from the domestic industry in the EU. The Commission said that it has received a complaint in November 2014 by Comité de Liaison des Industries de Ferro-Alliages on behalf of three Union producers which together account for over 25% of the total production of silico- manganese (including ferro-silico-manganese) in EU. The companies in EU said that imports of silico-manganese from India are being dumped and are thereby causing material injury to the Union industry.
