India for maritime, economic ties with IOR nations
The Dollar Business Bureau The Government of India, according to an official release, has proposed to establish cross cultural linkages and revive historic maritime cultural and economic ties with 39 Indian Ocean countries. According to the Union Minister of State for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Mahesh Sharma, the 39 countries belonging to Indian Ocean Region (IOR) include Bangladesh, Bahrain, China, Cambodia Cambodia, Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan, Mauritius, Singapore, Yemen, Thailand, South Africa, Philippines, among others.
