5th edition of India International Silk Fair to be inaugurated by Smriti Irani
The Dollar Business Bureau (with inputs from Press Bureau of India) The flagship event of the Indian Silk Export Promotion Council, the 5th edition of India International Silk Fair, will be inaugurated by the Union Textiles Minister Smriti Zubin Irani, on 15th October, at 11am, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Smriti Irani will be accompanied by the Minister of State for Textiles, Ajay Tamta and Secretary (Textiles), Rashmi Verma as Guests of Honour. The event is expected to garner a business of over $50 million for the small and medium sized entrepreneurs, producers of silk and silk blended clothes, floor coverings and fabrics.
