IIP is compiled using data received from 16 source agencies viz. Export-oriented MSMEs must be encouraged through fiscal incentives: Expert

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, today gave its approval for the India’s first integrated National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015. The Policy acknowledges the need for an effective roadmap for promotion of entrepreneurship as the key to a successful skills strategy. The previous National Policy on Skill Development was formulated by the Ministry of Labour and Employment in 2009 and provided for a review after five years to align the policy framework with emerging national and international trends. Slow business inflows affect Indias manufacturing PMI in June
The Dollar Business Bureau The health of Indian manufacturing economy improved in June, but output growth eased on the back of a weaker rise in new business inflows, said an economic survey report released on Wednesday. Workforce numbers remained unchanged during the month, thus, reflecting companies’ efforts to keep expenses stable. However, inflation rates softened with both input costs and output charges rising at below-trend rates, noted the Markit Economics report. FICCI initiates an awareness program with Quality Council of India for manufacturing
