The Dollar Business Bureau Finance Minister Arun Jaitely on Thursday launched two key initiatives – MSME Databank Portal and Online Finance Facilitation Web Portal – with a common focus to bring transparency and efficiency in the MSME day-to-day operation. “The Ministry of MSME is making online census of the MSMEs in the country for the first time by launching a comprehensive databank on http://www.msmedatabank.in. National Small Industries Corporation plans to achieve 15-20% growth rate
The Dollar Business Bureau The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) on March 30, 2015, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), for the year 2015-16. Under this MoC, the NSIC aims to provide enhanced services like Financial, Marketing, Technology Services and other support services schemes for MSMEs in the country. The Corporation further projects to achieve a growth rate of 15%-20% under it’s the operational performance during the year 2015-16. The key elements under the MoC include distribution of raw material to the SMEs, preparing the SMEs to avail enhanced benefits, development of clusters, among others. MSMEs incubation centres to promote entrepreneurship in agri-industry

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the scheme was aimed at setting up network and incubation centres for the promotion of start-ups for innovation and entrepreneurship in the agro-industry. Technical Incubation Centres will solve unemployment: Mishra
The Dollar Business Bureau The Union Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra on Thursday, urged the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd (NSIC) to set up more Technical Incubation Centers at different places in the North-East States to create avenues for solving the unemployment problem. Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the International Guwahati Trade Fair, the Minister lauded NISC for its role in promoting entrepreneurship in North-East states and also across India.
