A fungicide named tricyclazole which many farmers use to prevent leaf and neck blast in basmati paddy varieties was banned by EU. For sometime EU had allowed a maximum residue limit (MRL) of 1ppm (parts per million) on the basmati rice that was exported to EU. The Dollar Business Bureau  The Customs is intending to impose anti-dumping duty on the imports of clear float glass of nominal thickness ranging from 4mm to 12 mm (both inclusive), from Pakistan (producer M/s Tariq Glass Industries), UAE and Saudi Arabia. The countries have been put under review by the Ministry of Finance as they have been dumping the clear float glass at cheaper rates causing injury to the domestic players. The Dollar Business Bureau India and Pakistan's admission as full members to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will be formalised at the political and security grouping's summit in Kazakhstan next week, China announced today, while hoping that they would "strictly follow" its charter. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying hoped that the admission of India and Pakistan as full members would help improve their bilateral relations. PTI China on Friday dismissed as "unnecessary" the concerns of Pakistani businesses over the possibility of local markets getting flooded with cheap Chinese goods due to tax exemption under the CPEC project, marginalising local industries.
