Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone of the Patanjali Herbal and Mega Food Park at Balipara in Sonitpur district. Speaking to the media, Baba Ramdev said, "The unit will give direct employment to 5000 people and benefit one lakh farmers. MP govt gives 40 acres to Ramdevs Patanjali at Rs 10 cr
The Dollar Business Bureau The Madhya Pradesh Govt has allocated 40 acres of land to yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali Ayurved. The land allocated is in the Pithampur industrial area and Patanjali intends to set up a food processing unit at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Speaking to the media, Kumar Purushottam, MD, Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam, Indore said, "We have allotted 40 acres of land to Patanjali Ayurved at Rs 25 lakh per acre. Patanjali successfully bids for food park at MIHAN
The Dollar Business Bureau Patanjali Ayurved Ltd, the FMCG company founded by Baba Ramdev, has successfully submitted a proposal to set up a modern food park at Multi-modal International Hub Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN). Earlier, Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) had floated two global tenders this year, one in May and the other in July, but has not been able to get a bidder. MADC has floated the tenders for the third time and got Patanjali Ayurved Ltd as the qualified bidder, the state-owned agency said in a press release on Friday. The state-run agency has taken a decision to create agro, herbal, food and forest-based industrial parks, spreading across a 230-acre land in MIHAN. Patanjali to launch dairy products and cattle feeds
The Dollar Business Bureau Patanjali will launch some more dairy products, cattle feed and also natural manures into the market, said Yoga guru Baba Ramdev. The decision comes as the company aims to achieve a total turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by next year. Ramdev said, "We will come out with more dairy products like liquid milk. We shall set up 3-4 dairy projects so that farmers can be empowered and people get commodities unadulterated.” Ramdev added that the Patanjali group will focus on six sectors including natural food, dairy products, natural cosmetics, natural manure, cattle feed and natural medicines.
