Chinese TV maker Skyworth plans to expand in India
The Dollar Business Bureau Chinese TV manufacturer Skyworth plans to establish an assembling unit or wants to acquire a running plant for the expansion of the company in North India, Jackson Zhang, Managing Director, Skyworth India Electronics Pvt Ltd said. He was speaking to the media, during the launch of a new television model AIR TV in Tamil Nadu on Monday. The cost of 7.9 mm-thin high technology AIR TV is fixed at Rs 169,990. The Chinese firm also plans to introduce other consumer goods such as washing machines, air conditioners and refrigerators in the Indian market by 2017, he said.
