Tariff relief for power projects is positive for the sector: ICRA

Banks ask RBI to leave surplus cash in market for more liquidity

 The Dollar Business Bureau Due to the cash crunch prevailing in the market, the banks are exacting the Reserve Bank of India to leave surplus government cash in the hands of the bank, so that they can prevent the temporary cram in the market. Policy on coal linkages likely in 15 days: Govt

Source: PTI Power Ministry is at the final stage of framing the new tariff policy, which will soon be placed before the Cabinet for approval   To ensure fuel supply to power plants, the proposed policy for coal linkages is likely to be finalised within a fortnight, the government said on Tuesday. "Coal linkages policy is likely to be finalised in 15 days," Power Secretary P K Pujari told reporters on the sidelines of a function organised by India Energy Forum.
