NITI Aayog-SCE launches urban management programme
The Dollar Business Bureau National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) has partnered with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) to launch an urban management programme in New Delhi. Singapore based non-profit organisation Temasek Foundation has granted an amount of SGD 851,750 to financially support the three-year programme. According to Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, “Urban Transformation is given first preference in National Development Agenda of India. Minister for faster approvals to boost investments in infra sector
The Dollar Business Bureau With an aim to expedite the process of construction activity, the Indian government on Tuesday called for the fast processing of approvals required for taking up construction projects in urban areas through rationalization. To this effect, the government called for decrease in number of approvals and No Objections that are usually followed for approving a construction activity. If implemented on a larger scale, this move by the government would definitely attract investments in the infrastructure sector.
