FICCI initiates an awareness program with Quality Council of India for manufacturing

The Dollar Business Bureau In association with the Quality Council of India, FICCI on June 26, 2015 initiated an awareness program about the ‘Zero Defect, Zero Effect’ Maturity Assessment Model. “This initiative is intended to give a major fillip to Prime Minister Modi’s vision to manufacture products with 'zero defect' in terms of quality and with 'zero effect' in terms of environmental impact under the ‘Make in India’ umbrella,” said the industry body in a statement. The Dollar Business Bureau “The government will support MSME Clusters for global competitive manufacturing through setting up of 15 new Technology Centres with World Bank assistance, augmenting the 18 existing TCs with new technologies and testing facilities,” Minister of State, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr Giriraj Singh.
