Egyptians have been masters of trade since pre-dynastic times – foreign trade, both overland and maritime, had flourished in Egypt by 3000 BC. And the situation hasn’t changed much for the country. Although, in recent times, chaos in the Middle-East and political turmoil within have played havoc with its trade & economy, Egypt continues to be the centre of Eurafrasian culture & trade.
