The article on Made in China is intelligently presented. Nowhere does it mention banning of Chinese products. In fact it clearly mentions, that: “We are not talking here of a total ban on imports from China – like it is currently imposed on milk products (banned for health) or cosmetics to be used on animal testing (for social reasons) or even the previous ban on telecom equipment (for national security reasons; subsequently withdrawn). What is required is a measured application of higher import duties to protect industries that have the potential to make the Indian elephant dance!” I am an importer of a certain hardware and given how I see many industries suffering at the hands of Made in China products, I do want to see some new Anti-Dumping Duties imposed. - Ashwin Rathi, Kolkata

We are a budding exporter from Tamil Nadu.  We are proud to be a subscriber of The Dollar Business. Both the magazine and website are very interesting, and totally dedicated to EXIM community members. Keep giving us more to read. - S. Saravanan, Magee Exports, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu

I read the article on Made in China in the November issue of the magazine. I think the Chinese have the lead because of their higher productivity. So their manufacturing cost is substantially lower. We should also bear in mind that China does not only export, but also is one of the biggest importers in the world. Banning imports from China cannot help Indian industries. But as suggested in the editorial, fixing our infrastructure, and working on increasing productivity in India is the way to go. - Deepak Gupta, Lucknow

Someone in my Facebook group shared your website with us. So I gave it a look. I’m definitely loving the information you provide. I’ve bookmarked it and have tweeted the link to my followers! Outstanding blog and terrific design and style. - Catherine Bradway, Greater New York City Area

I am really delighted to read articles on your website. They have plenty of useful data. It appears very useful a medium of information for exports from not just India but even to those overseas looking at India as a market for imports. Thanks for providing such information. - Berenice Louise, Hamilton, Canada

I must say – your magazine is excellent. The website too has so much information on the subject of foreign trade. - Alphonso MCSwain, California

The special cover feature on China was a repertoire of information about the amazing range of innovative products in that country. Although, it is common knowledge that all Chinese products come cheap, it was the variety of utility items, some of them unheard of in India, which really kept me engrossed in the series of articles. My compliments to the The Dollar Business in keeping the readers informed about the Chinese markets. - Kiran Jogi, Bangalore

I have become a regular reader of The Dollar Business because of the interesting and thought-provoking interviews with those who matter in the Export and Import segments, featured in the magazine. The Export Temples issues was one-of-a-kind. Unique! - Soumitra Chatterjee, Bhubaneshwar
