Born out of a confused ideology, Pakistan has experimented with almost everything – from free market capitalism to socialism, from modern democracy to martial laws. And the end result has been the most unstable and economically weak nuclear power. But recent setbacks aside, one can only hope that the bonhomie between Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi will lead to more trade and less hatred between India and Pakistan
