South Korea, officially known as the Republic of Korea, is the 4th largest economy in Asia and the 11th largest in the world. It is also the world’s 6th largest exporter and is a role model for many emerging economies. After all, no one can ignore its rise from one of the world’s poorest countries to a high-income nation in just a few decades.
