Nippon Paint partners with Italy-based IVM Chemicals

Nippon Paint is planning to setup two service centres in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Nippon Paint India has partnered with Italy-based IVM Chemicals to promote its wood coating products that are based on Japanese technology. As part of this tie-up, IVM Chemicals’ brands such as Milesi, Ilva and Croma Lacke will be marketed by Nippon in Indian wood coatings market.

Wee Siew Kim, CEO of the NIPSEA Group and Promoter of Nippon Paint India said that Wood Art by Nippon Paint is a wood coating solution that is both art and science. With this partnership, IVM and Nippon aspire to transform the wood coating industry in India with their unique offerings.

Roberto Ravano, IVM’s CEO for Asia said that the company has plans to develop brands that will enhance customer experience, and educate the industrial users about products and applications. He is confident that this partnership will help in reaching more business prospects across the country.

Sharad Malhotra, President of Nippon Paint India for wood coating and automotive refinish said the company’s diversified colour portfolio offers tinting solutions, and other supporting products such as aerosols, putties and polishes, non-paint ancillaries like masking papers and tapes, abrasives and sanding tools.

Nippon Paint is planning to set up two service centres in New Delhi and Mumbai to support its sampling, colour tinting, training and other techno-commercial services. Experience centres for Wood Art are also planned in many cities of the country. Nippon Paint Wood Art program offers a range of turnkey project management services. The company plans to deliver value-added services on mobile apps in the times to come.
