Plant Quarantine Regulation of Import into India Order, 2003 amended

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:-

1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Third Amendment) Order, 2017.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule IX.- In the Schedule IX (clause 5) of the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, under the heading – INSPECTION FEES”, and the entries thereto, the following heading and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

Plus costs/fees for any special tests as per rates fixed by concerned approved Institute

B. FUMIGATION/DISINFECTION/DISINFESTATION CHARGES
