Amendments regarding solar power units, computers, other goods

Dated 11th July, 2014 | Notification no.21/2014 | G.S.R.  (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962(52 of 1962),  the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest  so to do,  hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 21/2012- Customs, dated the 17th   March, 2012, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.194(E), dated the 17th   March, 2012, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table,- (a) against serial number 14, in column (3), after the words “setting up of a solar power generation”,  the words “or solar energy production” shall be inserted; (b) after serial number 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- [F.No.334/15/2014-TRU]   Note: The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 194 (E), dated the 17th March, 2012. and was last amended by notification No. 6/2014-Customs, dated the 17th February, 2014 vide number G.S.R. 93(E), dated the 17th February, 2014.   Source: CBEC Original release
