UFDA bans drugs import from Badrivishal Chemicals

The Dollar Business Bureau The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has restricted imports of drugs from Pune-based Badrivishal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. The US drug regulator has issued the alert under Import Alert 66-40, which authorises the health regulator "detention without physical examination of drugs from firms which have not met drug GMPs". The company manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients and specialty chemicals and exports its drugs to more than 30 countries including US, UK, Germany and France. Badrivishal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals’s Pune-based plant is approved by Maharashtra FDA and is spread across an area of over 12,000 square feet. Cadilla Health Care stocks fall by 3%, WHO notice brings concern

 The Dollar Business Bureau Cadilla Health care saw a 3% decrease in their trade, after they had got a notice of concern from World Health Organization(WHO), regarding breach of the manufacturing good practices at its Moraiya plant in Sanand district, Gujarat. The stock is presently at Rs 313.60 on the BSE, after it fell to a 2.97 per cent. The fall of Cadilla Healthcare stock has been falling for three consecutive days. The scrip has further fallen down to 5.29 per cent in the foregoing sessions amidst the WHO warning concerns.
