Microsoft opens Cyber Security Centre in Gurgaon
The Dollar Business Bureau Microsoft has opened a Cyber Security Engagement Centre (CSEC) in Gurgaon to protect the Indian internet users from threats related to cybercrime. The main objective of the CSEC is to fight against cybercrime through public-private partnerships. The Centre also aims to strengthen its cyber security relationship with the government, business firms and other organisations. The CSEC in Gurgaon is one among the seven centres of the company spread across the globe. The Centre will act as a hub for Microsoft’s Digital Crime Unit (DCU) and will house experts from all fields. RBI mulls IT subsidiary to tackle online banking crimes
The Dollar Business Bureau In a move to overcome the challenges and threats posed by cyber security, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to create a subsidiary entity that would supervise and formulate policies for strengthening cyber security in the Indian Banking sector. A statement, in this regard, was said to have been made by Raghuram Rajan, Governor, RBI, while addressing media post the central board meeting of the monetary authority in Goa, on Thursday.
