Govt introduces ERP scheme to benefit handloom weavers
The Dollar Business Bureau The ERP system has been integrated with cloud technology to provide real-time information on NHDC activities to all stakeholders. The government on Sunday introduced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system – a scheme which would improve productivity, increase efficiencies, decrease costs and streamline supply of raw material – to boost India’s textile industry. The ERP system is aimed at benefitting the country’s handloom weavers through a quicker delivery of NHDC (National Handloom Development Corporation Ltd.) material.
