Telangana IT/ITeS exports up 13.26% at Rs.75000 cr
Sharath Chowdary Information technology (IT) and Information technology enabled services (ITES) exports from Telangana have recorded a healthy growth of 13.26% at Rs.75,070 crore in FY 2016 when compared to Rs.66,276 crore in FY 2015. This is better than the overall India’s IT/ITeS exports growth rate at 12.33% in FY 2016. Telangana is moving decisively towards achieving the set target of doubling the IT/ITeS exports by 2019, the state IT Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan told the Dollar Business Bureau. The Dollar Business Bureau The Government of Kerala, on Sunday, informed about the growth prospects of the State’s Information Technology (IT) sector in the current year, while stating that the sector has witnessed a growth in the last four years. A statement in this regard was made by P K Kunhali kutty, Industries and IT Minister, Government of Kerala.
