TAV plans to bid in Asia, Middle east and Africa
The Dollar Business Bureau TAV, the Turkish airport operator is preparing to bid for new tenders in India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia in the next two years. TAV’s chief executive Sani Sener expressed that this move is aimed at increasing the push in the new markets. Sener said that the TAV group is also interested in airports across the African countries where the passengers exceed one million and is also considering the privatization of airports in the Gulf. Punj Lloyd JV bags $204-bn gas pipeline contract in Turkey
The Dollar Business Bureau Punj Lloyd on Thursday announced that its joint venture company with Limak has won a Rs.1,390-crore ($204 million) order to develop TANAP gas pipeline in Turkey. As part of the order, the Indian engineering and construction major along with its joint venture partner will construct 459 kilometres of gas pipeline. The total order is worth Rs.2780 crore ($409 million). “TANAP, the Trans Anatolian Natural Pipeline Project, will be built to transport natural gas emanating from the South Caucasus Pipeline Company (SCPC) pipeline in Georgia and terminating into the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Greece,” Punj Lloyd said in a statement.
