The Dollar Business Bureau Mahindra & Mahindra, jointly with its South Korean subsidiary SsangYong Motor, has announced its plans to develop a production platform for an electric Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) by 2020. Lack of public charging infrastructure in both India and South Korea is one of the many bottlenecks in the mass-adoption of electric cars, which is inevitably going to be the future of automotive companies. The move towards clean-fuel vehicles is slow but palpable across the global auto industry. India to buy $2 billion missile systems from Israel
The Dollar Business Bureau India, one of the world's largest defence importers, and Israel, globally known as a top exporter of military prowess, have signed a historic defence trade deal of $2 billion. Under the said deal, Israel will provide India with advanced surface to air missile (SAM) systems. These defence systems are used to target enemy aircraft, drones and missiles within a 50 km - 70 km range. The mega defence deal is a big step towards expanding bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries ahead of PM Modi's visit to Tel Aviv in July, 2017. Mahindra investing in future of mobility; including driverless tractors

Mahindra tractor exports decline 7% in July
The Dollar Business Bureau Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has registered 7% decline in tractor sales in July 2016. The Farm Equipment Sector of the $17.8-billion Mahindra Group sold 1,101 tractors during July 2016, against 1,187 tractors in the same month last year. Within the country, the company has reported 15% growth in tractor sales at 16,452 units in July this year, as against 14,273 units during the corresponding month last year. The overall tractor sales including domestic sales and exports rose 14% at 17,553 units in July 2016, when compared to 15,460 units in the same month previous year. Mahindra's auto exports increase 41% in June
The Dollar Business Bureau Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has exported 4020 vehicles in June 2016 registering a healthy growth of 41% against the auto exports of 2852 units in the same month last year. The company has seen 25% growth in exports at 10569 units in the first quarter of this financial year when compared to 8449 vehicles exported during the corresponding period previous fiscal. The SUV manufacturer has sold 39011 vehicles in June 2016 against 36134 units in the same month previous year, representing 8% growth in overall sales including exports. Mahindra launches Gusto scooter in 8 more states
The Dollar Business Bureau Mahindra Two Wheelers, a part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, on Wednesday launched the all-new Mahindra Gusto scooter in 125cc variation in 8 more states, priced between Rs.48,410 and Rs.55,110 respectively (ex-showroom). Mahindras exports rise 21% at 4,043 units in May
The Dollar Business Bureau Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd announced that its exports increased 21% at 4,043 units during May 2016, when compared to 3,337 units in the same month last year.
