A press release to the media said that the company is also willing to forge partnership with oil firms for higher grade oil needed for these models. In the months of January and February, the sales figures were higher than that of the previous year," said Michael Jopp, Vice President (sales and marketing), Mercedes-Benz India. The Dollar Business Bureau  Global auto major Mercedes is recalling around one million cars and SUVs from all over the world due to a starter part, which can overheat and may cause fire. The recall includes certain E-Class, C-Class and CLA cars and GLC and GLA SUVs, from the year 2015 to 2017. Out of a million vehicles to be recalled by the company, around 308,000 cars are from the US only. The Germany-based automobile manufacturer reported 51 fires all over the world, with around 30 in the US. The automaker has not reported any injuries or death due to the problem.
