Delhis per capita income stands at Rs 2.8 lakh for 2015-16

The Dollar Business Bureau Delhi clocked the highest per capita income growth among all states and union territories in 2015-16, as the income grew by 13% or Rs.28,000 to reach about Rs.2,80,000. The capital’s last year average per capita income is closely trailed by Chandigarh and Sikkim, with their per capita income of Rs.2,42,386 and Rs.2,27,465, respectively during the year. Delhi’s current figure stands at three times the national average last year, according to the latest official data released on Thursday.
