NITI Aayog-SCE launches urban management programme

The Dollar Business Bureau   National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) has partnered with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) to launch an urban management programme in New Delhi. Singapore based non-profit organisation Temasek Foundation has granted an amount of SGD 851,750 to financially support the three-year programme. According to Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, “Urban Transformation is given first preference in National Development Agenda of India. Japans ICT major for 'Safe City' projects in AP

The Dollar Business Bureau Japan-based Information Technology services major NEC Corporation entered into an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Technology Services Limited (APTS), for smart city projects in the State. NEC India and APTS, a wholly-owned state company of Andhra Pradesh IT, electronics and communications service provider of AP, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration in the areas of information technology for 'smart city' initiatives in the State, said NEC Corp, in its official release on Tuesday. Hitachi, Siemens and CII to create pilot projects for Smart Cities

 The Dollar Business Bureau Under the Government of India (GoI)’s ‘Smart City’ initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Hitachi India Limited, Siemens Ltd and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), on Tuesday. The MoU aimed at forming a working group in order to create pilot projects and further replicate them throughout the country for setting up 100 smart cities.
