DGFT, Mumbai It has been a practice of this office to have an open door policy for all exporters/members of the trade to meet the officers of the rank of Assistant DGFT and above, between 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM on each working day except Friday. The said practice is now formalized by way of issuing this Trade Notice. It is herewith reiterated that all exporters, members of the trade, potential exporters/IEC holders and nonofficials can meet any officer of the rank of Assistant DGFT and above, between 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM on any working day from Monday to Thursday. The meetings would not necessitate any prior appointment with the officer. However, if it is felt that it would be more beneficial to seek prior appointment, so that specific issues proposed to be discussed are spelt out in advance, prior appointment can be fixed with the officer in advance. This Trade Notice is being issued herein to facilitate trade and with an explicit objective of streamlining the procedure for interaction with the officers of the rank of Assistant DGFT and above, in the office of Addl. DGFT, Mumbai.
