The Dollar Business Bureau Hong Kong Trade Development Centre (HKTDC), a facilitator of international trade via Hong Kong, organised a seminar in collaboration with The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in Hyderabad, on March 9, 2017. PTI  An international convention of travel and tourism professionals from 88 countries would be held in Hyderabad next year. The Skal International Congress, International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals comprising 1,000 operators from 88 countries, would be held from October 5-8, 2017, the Telangana government said. Skal is a professional organisation of tourism leaders from around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry, it said. Its members, the industry's managers and executives meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest, it said. The convention would promote Hyderabad to the international tourism circuit, it added.

The Dollar Business Bureau Ikea said it will double source the products from India to nearly euro 600 million in coming three to four years.  Juvencio Maeztu, CEO, Ikea India was speaking to reporters after the ground breaking ceremony, of IKEA India’s first store of nearly 4 lakh sq. ft with an investment of Rs 700 crore in Hyderabad. The Dollar Business Bureau Suven Life Sciences (Suven) on Tuesday announced it has received approvals of one product patent each from India and South Africa.  “One product patent from India and one product patent from South Africa corresponding to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for treatment of disorders associated with neuro-degenerative diseases," the company said in an announcement.   These two patents are valid through 2028 and 2032 respectively. The granted patents include the class of 5-HT6 compounds and H3 inverse agonist compounds. There are being developed as therapeutic agents and will be used for the treatment of cognitive impairment related to neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington's disease, major depressive disorder (MDD), Parkinson and Schizophrenia.
